Former presidential candidate and former Minister of Finance Ingrida Šimonytė admitted in the 15min studio that she has yet to decide if she will run in next year’s Seimas elections, where the Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats are offering her the leading position on their electoral roll and the office of prime minister if they are victorious.

Prior to the 2016 Seimas elections, which were the first in I. Šimonytė‘s career, she did not hesitate to declare that she will run for parliament. She declared in late November 2015 that she would run in the elections alongside the Conservatives and would compete in the Antakalnis electoral district in Vilnius.
