“It is not a miracle-making cabinet,” new Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė states. On Tuesday, she presented before Seimas the programme for the eighteenth cabinet. Prior to her statement to Seimas, I. Šimonytė expressed hope that after the coming four years of governance, there will be more trust within society and that the cabinet she will lead will make fewer pledges. The prime minister stated that in terms of certain questions, she will consult with opposition parties, will take into account some of their ideas, will continue positive work. The Seimas hall did also resound with a few scathing remarks.
