Vilnius District Court, which has been reviewing the political corruption case and in June postponed proceedings to autumn due to a judge falling ill, is due to renew proceedings on Wednesday. However, while at the start of summer there were plans to question the main witness – MG Baltic president and sole shareholder Darius Mockus, his questioning has been delayed once more. The group’s representatives say they did not request a postponement.

In this case, which the Vilnius District Court has been in proceedings for over a year, D. Mockus does not stand accused of anything. Accusations have only been levied against the group’s former VP Raimondas Kurlianskis and the group itself as a legal entity.
