The migrant crisis could lead to shifts in the balance of power of Lithuanian politics. The elevated influx of migrants from Belarus has silenced previous talks from some liberals of attention to migrant integration and opposition parties gained a new opportunity to strengthen their positions, this including hard-liners who lack parliamentary representation. 15min spoke to political scientists and politicians regarding the impact of the migration crisis on Lithuania’s political system.
