Nausėda praises Prime Minister S. Skvernelis, but will evaluate his experience: future ministers to face condition of a state bank

In an interview with 15min news portal, Lithuania’s President Gitanas Nausėda was assuring that principles of a welfare state during the economic crisis become even more relevant. Therefore it is especially important to help those in need, and it does not matter if this is done with borrowed money. It also seems irrelevant to the president that the Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis may end up building up his political clout on the back of the crisis. Relations with him have become warmer, though the president has even more criticisms for the Transport and Communications Minister, Jaroslavas Narkevičius.
