New Lithuanian ambassador to Moscow: there’s no avoiding Russia, we’ll have to talk

“There is no escaping Russia. We will have to communicate and find a level of interaction,” Lithuanian Ambassador to Russia Eitvydas Bajarūnas, who took office in Moscow in May, told 15min in an interview. Nevertheless, he notes that there are currently no significant premises for changes in Russo-Lithuanian relations, even if he promises to seek agreement on pragmatic questions that benefit both sides.
