Despite the agreement reached last week in the Order and Justice party board, the atmosphere is beginning to heat up again. While party leader Remigijus Žemaitaitis was abroad, his deputy Vytautas Kamblevičius declared they had come to agreement with Arvydas Juozaitis to form a new party. R. Žemaitaitis too had plans for potential new comrades – Lithuanian Green Party (LŽP) chairman Remigijus Lapinskas confirmed to 15min that he had received an invitation from R. Žemaitaitis to join forces.

After a stormy Order and Justice party board meeting last week, the party’s members, who are split into two camps, came to terms and departed after agreeing to the party chairman’s opinion that the only way forward is to create a wholly new party. Achieving this was not easy for R. Žemaitaitis.
