Political scientists on G. Nausėda’s decision to not appoint as minister: stronger arguments should have been sought

On Wednesday, President Gitanas Nausėda refused to appoint the prime minister’s advisor Lukas Savickas as minister of economics and innovation. According to political scientists, the president operated based on a weak motive and the decision itself is likely just a response to the prime minister, who did not dismiss the Minister of Transport and Communications Jaroslaw Narkiewicz.
