Political scientists: reformed cabinet will work at a pre-election tempo, not a reform tempo

Certain political scientists believe that the new cabinet should not be expected to have any major achievements. It would start working with only a little over a year to the Seimas elections. This will have a major influence on the work of the cabinet, temptations will emerge to open wide the state coffers.

The face of the reformed cabinet will change little – with the Seimas’ approval, it will have three new ministers: transport and communications, interior affairs and agriculture.
