Potential ministers not emerging from the shadows: why are parties not revealing who they would hand minister positions?

The individuals the parties plan to nominate as ministers upon winning the Seimas elections and forming the cabinet remain essentially a secret. Among the major political powers, only the Liberal Movement has named most of its prospective candidates. Political scientist Jūratė Novagrockienė says that the composition of the shadow ministerial cabinet is information for both voters and for potential coalition partners.
