The Lithuanian Farmer and Greens Union (LVŽS) electoral roll for the parliamentary elections will have room for non-partisan figures, the organisation’s leader Ramūnas Karbauskis says, refuting the words of Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis. It would appear that after 2020, the LVŽS is positioning itself as an opponent to the Conservatives and a companion of its current coalition partners and according to R. Karbauskis, the plan is to continue what has been started.

“We are entering the elections not from the opposition, but from the majority so it’s rather simple for us because quite many tasks have been performed and important ones at that. This will be our strongest argument in the elections, not something else,” the LVŽS leader commented to 15min.
