Testimonies by Gitanas Nausėda’s supporters raise doubts on who handed their list to the VSD

Throughout the lockdown, the question of why the State Security Department VSD) vetted individuals within candidate Gitanas Nausėda‘s circle remained unanswered. An investigation by 15min shows that a part of the vetted individuals had no relation to the electoral campaign and the “human source” who handed lists of uninvolved individuals to the intelligence service could have been from within G. Nausėda’s team. Nevertheless, the president denies having personally or by proxy requested for the VSD to vet his supporters.
