Unlike G. Nausėda recalls: cases exist in Lithuanian history where ministers immediately appointed ambassadors afterwards

“I am not aware of a case in Lithuanian history where an individual who held the position of minister would immediately become an ambassador afterwards,” President Gitanas Nausėda says. However, such cases, at least several, have definitely occurred.
