What would the European defence autonomy E. Macron proposes mean for Lithuania?

During his visit to Vilnius in September, French President Emmanuel Macron once more spoke of the need for European sovereignty in the defence domain. Security experts say that such autonomy could be beneficial for Lithuania if it were to mean closer coordination in the defence industry. However, diverging threat definitions and potential competition with the USA are causes for concern.
