Who is in control of Seimas? The answer leaves R. Karbauskis discontent

With the failure to dismiss Seimas Speaker Viktoras Pranckietis and with “Order and Justice” removed from the coalition, an unusual situation has emerged on the Seimas board – most of its members do not belong to the ruling coalition. “Farmer” leader Ramūnas Karbauskis has already been irked by a decision of the parliamentary board, supposedly made by the votes of opponents.

Of nine Seimas board members, only four are currently representatives of the ruling coalition: first Vice Speaker Rima Baškienė and deputies Arvydas Nekrošius, Gediminas Kirkilas and Irena Šiaulienė.
