The antagonism existing in the public over the Vilnius city municipal council and mayor’s decisions to remove commemorative signs to Jonas Noreika and Kazys Škirpa is necessary, experts participating in a discussion at the 15min studio said on Friday. According to them, such discussions fundamentally change the public’s view of values, but quick results should not be expected and there could yet be numerous other such confrontations.
