Kyrgyzstan drops visa requirements for Lithuania

After passing of a law in Kyrgyzstan on visa-free travels for some countries, citizens of Lithuania do not need visas for trips to the country in Central Asia anymore, the Foreign Ministry informs on Tuesday.

The law unilaterally lifts visa requirements for citizens of 44 countries, including Lithuania.

From now on, Lithuanian citizens holding valid passports can travel to Kyrgyzstan and stay there for up to 60 days.

The mountainous Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia borders Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and China. The country has a population of about 5 million.

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan need visas to come to Lithuania.
