Lithuania to obtain millions of iodine pills before the launch of Astravyets Nuclear Power Plant

Nuclear fuel has not arrived at the near complete Astravyets Nuclear Power Plant, however Lithuania has already concluded negotiations with Austrian manufacturers regarding the delivery of 4 million units of iodine pills. Our country will be obtaining the pills before the launch of the neighbouring country’s nuclear power plant.
