According to the press release, Russian customs chief Andrey Belyaninov also noted that trucks awaiting customs checks in Russia have not been allowed to pass yet but said it is a "matter of hours, not days."
"Belyaninov assured that the tightened customs checks of Lithuanian haulers has been lifted at the Lithuanian-Russian border and at Russian internal customs by the October 10 decree of the Russian president," Norkus said in the statement.
Edminas Bagdonas, director of the Foreign Ministry's Eastern Neighborhood Policy Department, held consultations with director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second European Department director Viktor Tatarintsev in Moscow on Friday.
"The meeting addressed the most relevant issues of bilateral relations, with a focus on the Russian discriminatory measures on Lithuania," the ministry said.
