Those returning from coronavirus hotspots received by troops

On Tuesday evening, journalists were given the opportunity to get acquainted with what checks passengers returning from virus hotspots face at Vilnius Airport. From Monday, the State Emergency Operations Centre ruled that most volunteers were replaced by troops. According to the representative for the National Public Health Centre Rolanda Lingienė, this helps continue the now month long testing at the airport’s arrivals. Meanwhile, a foreigner returning to Lithuania from Milan sees this as just raising tensions.
