“An agreement on the acquisition of the majority holding in Energetikos Tinklų Institutas has been signed, the buyer is a Chinese state-owned company,” ETI CEO Giedrius Lynikas told the news portal. The deal was expected to be finalized by June, he added.

The company currently employs around 40 engineers.

“A change in shareholders will open up wider possibilities for Energetikos Tinklų Institutas both in Lithuania and abroad. We are also likely to get orders in China,” Lynikas said.
