The Competition Council said on Monday that it gave the approval last Friday. DLA Group owns Lithuania's Baltic Agro.

DLA Group said last September that it was buying a 60-percent stake in Hankkija-Maatalous, one of Finland's largest agricultural product trade companies with annual revenues of 1 billion euros.

DLA International Holding is a subsidiary of DLA Group, one of the biggest agricultural business companies in Northern Europe with a workforce of nearly 3,000 people.
