“Lithuania’s companies mostly scored best in the traditional industrial sectors, including textiles, manufacturing, as well as in telecommunications; Latvia’s companies – in transport and trade sectors; and Estonia’s – in financial services,” Airida Zavadskė, the head of Profiles International for the Baltic countries, said at a news conference in Vilnius on Tuesday.
Speaking about the most productive Lithuanian companies, she particularly referred to the chemicals company Orion Global Pet, the gas station chain Neste Lietuva, the telecommunications company Tele2 and the scrap metal processing company Kuusakoski.
The companies’ productivity has been assessed by comparing the revenue/employee ratio.
Profiles International analyzed the largest Baltic companies employing at least 25 employees: 455 companies in Lithuania, 342 companies in Latvia, and 388 in Estonia.
