The company has announced the change of the name in the press.
Lietuva Statoil is one of Lithuania's leading fuel retailers with a chain of 76 stations, including 63 full-service stations and 13 unmanned stations, in 24 towns. The company has invested more than 7 million litas (EUR 2m) in the expansion of unmanned stations this year.
Lietuva Statoil posted a net profit of 2.466 million litas last year, versus a net loss of 25.831 million litas in 2010. Sales revenues increased by 25.5 percent to 1.088 billion litas.
Statoil Fuel & Retail , which is owned by the Canadian retailer Alimentation Couche-Tard, has around 2,300 fuel retail stations in Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic countries, and Russia.
