Lithuania's EU-harmonized annual average inflation rate last month reached 3.6 percent, compared with the EU-27 average rate of 2.9 percent.
Higher inflation was recorded in Hungary, at 4.9 percent, Estonia, at 4.6 percent, Slovakia, at 4.1 percent, Poland, at 4 percent, and Britain, at 3.7 percent. Latvia posted a 3.3 percent inflation rate.
Sweden's annual average inflation, at 1 percent, remained the lowest in the EU.
