Lithuania’s annual inflation stand at 4.2 percent

The HICP-measured average annual inflation rate matched that measured by the national CPI, it said.

The EU-harmonized annual inflation rate last month was 3.4 percent, which also matched the rate measured by the national CPI.

The harmonized monthly inflation rate was 0.4 percent and was 0.1 points above the rate measured by the national CPI.

The HICP-measured average 12-month inflation rate is one of the key indicators for countries wishing to join the euro zone.
