"The vessel is to be handed over to the buyer in September 2012," the company said in a statement to the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius stock exchange on Wednesday. It gave no details as to the buyer of the reefer and the price of the deal.
Built in Japan's Kyokuyo Shipyard in 1991, the Lyra has six cooling sections.
The Klaipėda-based company had a fleet of 11 vessels in late March, including eight reefers and three container vessels.
Limarko Shipping said in early May that it had sold two of its ships - the Marsas and the Pluto.
The company's first-quarter profit fell to 4.2 million litas (EUR 1.2 m), down from 9.6 million litas in the same period last year, as revenues slumped down by 39 percent year-on-year to 17.5 million litas.
Its annual losses last year surged to 44.354 million litas, up 44.2 percent from 30.846 million litas in 2010.
The shipping company is quoted on the Current List of the Vilnius stock exchange.
