Fifty-one percent of those polled want the euro to be introduced in the near future and 45 percent want to wait for the right time.

Three-quarters of respondents believe that euro entry will not change product prices.

The poll shows that businesses are optimistic about the long-term benefits of euro adoption, with 79 percent of respondents thinking that the new currency will bring more benefits than harm to the state.

The CEOs of the country's 130 biggest companies participated in the survey.
