Also, Lietuvos Dujos paid 1.518 million litas for gas acquired from Latvijas Gaze, down 6 percent from 1.615 million litas in 2011, the Lithuanian company said in its 2012 report.

In line with December 1999 agreement between Lietuvos Dujos and Gazprom, the price of gas depends on HFO and gasoil prices on international markets, the US dollar and euro ratio set by the European Central Bank (ECB) and the actual calorific value of natural gas.

The agreement is valid until 31 December 2015.
