Lithuanian government raises EUR 11.6 mln in bond auction

The Lithuanian Finance Ministry sold 40 million litas (EUR 11.6 mln) worth of three-year government securities at an average yield of 4.368 percent via an auction on Monday.

The lowest yield bid received was 4.275 percent and the highest yield accepted was 4.43 percent. The three-year bond issue carries a coupon of 4.3 percent.

Bids worth 111.01 million litas in total were placed for the auction, including 102 million litas worth of competitive bids.

The issue matures on 27 February, 2015.
