The company, which seeks to expand in the Baltic countries, intends to invest nearly 80 million litas (EUR 23.2m) in the region in the three-year period.

“In Lithuania, we plan to open one restaurant each year in 2013–2015. There are several interest sites in Vilnius, which we are considering now,” Tomasz Nawrocki, McDonald's managing director for the Baltic countries, told the daily.

Premier Capital Limited, a Maltese-registered company that holds McDonald's franchise in the Baltic countries, opened the 30th restaurant of the chain in Riga earlier this year. The chain would expand to 36 outlets by the end of 2015, Nawrocki said.

The company invests around 1.5 million euros in a restaurant.
