Statistics show women earn more in the construction sector than men: is this true?

Women earn an average of 150 euro more in the construction sector than men do according to the newest data from the Department of Statistics, however a woman working as a decorator-painter says that the situation is quite the contrary – women are paid far less than men for the same work.
