US energy expert: Lithuania is reaping the fruits of the LNG terminal, alternatives are crucial

During a visit to Lithuania, Atlantic Council Founding Chairman Richard L. Morningstar praised the country for the construction of its liquefied natural gas terminal in Klaipėda – without it, we would not have any leverage in negotiations with Gazprom. In regard to the question of Astravyets Nuclear Power Plant, he proposes to resolve it with the aid of partners in Europe and the USA.
