Every fourth Lithuanian considers 2012 a successful year

Almost fourty percent of Lithuanians say 2012 has been a successful year for them.

44 percent of people surveyed believe that 2012 has been neither a successful nor an unsuccessful year, and 17 percent believe it has been unsuccessful, according to a survey by public opinion and market research company Baltijos Tyrimai for the Lietuvos Rytas daily, carried out on 20-30 November.

A fourth of the surveyed people hope the upcoming year will be better for Lithuania than 2012, and roughly as many believe otherwise. Over a third of people think that nothing will change.
