The Special Archive stores files of 238 KGB reserve officers whose documents have already been published. Some of the cases are missing from the archives, as they have been destroyed or taken to KGB archives of the Soviet Union.

Nevertheless, the center coordinating operations of the website kgbveikla.lt said the archives still had 93 files that had escaped destruction, as many file cards had been found shredded.

"The cards indicate personal data, military degree, nationality, party affiliation, education, number and date of the KGB order, and the date of the person's inclusion into the KGB reserve, along with a case number of the KGB reserve officer," reads the press release.

Kgbveikla.lt has been publishing data on KGB operations and structure since last year. Last month, the published list of KGB staff employees drew mass attention. A list of secret collaborators of the Soviet repressive structure is currently under preparation and should be published in parts shortly.
