Viktor Uspaskich to head Lithuanian parlt group for relations with Russia

The Lithuanian Labor Party's leader Viktor Uspaskich will head the parliamentary group for relations with Russia.

According to an announcement made during the Seimas plenary on Tuesday, Uspaskich has been elected as the group's chairman, while his deputies will include Bronius Bradauskas of the Social Democratic Party and Povilas Gylys of the Way of Courage group.

The group has a total of about 70 members.

Uspaskich stands fraud charges in the Labor Party's bookkeeping fraud case.
