The fight between good and evil has been the focus of Lithuania’s political life throughout virtually the entire Seimas term. Which party represents the good and which is seen as the evil is down to personal choice. National politics became centred around the battles between the Homeland Union-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD) and the Lithuanian Farmer and Greens Union (LVŽS). Both of these parties are usually ranked at the top two during the entire term.
