A blow to the government from its own experts: stimulus plan not a match for business needs

The Lithuanian economy stimulus plan is not a match for businesses’ needs and is unsuited for urgently saving the economy because the effect of certain measures will only be felt in 2021. Furthermore, it does not resolve today’s largest problem – stabilising the Lithuanian economy, a strategic analysis centre Strata study commissioned by the cabinet has revealed. That said, the study, which was submitted on April 22, has yet to be presented to the public.
