Economists on the 200 pay-out for the elderly: it’s political corruption

The 200 euro pay-out for the elderly planned by the cabinet and “Farmer” leader Ramūnas Karbauskis‘ declarations that it could be issued multiple times is viewed by economists as preparations for the elections and bribery. They warn that Sodra income will fall and the accumulated reserve will be needed for those directly suffering from quarantine consequences – losing their jobs.
