“A convergence report will be prepared in the middle of next year. The European Central Bank and the [European] Commission will assess compliance with all criteria and this will be done very thoroughly. I know that Lithuania is very serious about this. Everything is moving in the right direction,” he said.
The official added that the crisis relating to the concerns about the survival or break-up of the euro zone had already ended.
