The revenues from excise duties, income and profit taxes were above projected levels, but revenues from VAT were lower than planned, the ministry said.
The revenues on VAT made up 1.036 billion litas (7.4 pct below target), on excise duties – 330.837 million litas (3.3 pct above target), on income tax – 86.405 million litas (20.8 pct above target), and on profit tax – 12.835 million litas (2.6 times above target).
The central government budget for 2012 projects 18.016 billion litas in annual revenues, excluding 7.131 billion litas in EU funds and other aid. Expenditures are planned at 18.624 billion litas.
