Following a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights, the Lithuanian lawmakers allowed Paksas, who was impeached as president and therefore prevented from taking public office, to run for parliament.
The party approved its candidate list during a council meeting over the weekend.
In the list, Paksas is followed by MP Valentinas Mazuronis, deputy party leader for administration Vytautas Kamblevičius, election staff leader MP Kęstas Komskis and Raseiniai District Mayor Remigijus Ačas who gave up his mandate as MPlast year for the mayoral position.
The list includes a total of 159 party members and supporters.
According to popularity polls, the Order and Justice Party may secure about 9 percent of the vote.
