Sources say S. Skvernelis wishes to make the STT subordinate to the cabinet, PM denies this

15min sources report that Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis would like for the Special Investigation Service [STT] to become directly subordinate to the cabinet. According to the sources, STT director Žydrūnas Bartkus is against this. The prime minister’s team firmly denies that such ideas were ever considered.
