Litgrid to bar Latvia from using electricity lines to Belarus – a repeat of Renge could occur?

As soon as the first nuclear reactions begin in Astravyets Nuclear Power Plant, Lithuania will cease purchasing electrical power from Belarus. However, Latvia and Estonia are of a different mind – they have agreed to continue purchasing power and are even looking to Lithuania’s transfer capacities. Litgrid have told 15min that even if they wanted this, our neighbours will not have access to Lithuanian power lines. The dispute could even move into international institutions and so, does Lithuania risk any losses?
