London court to resume hearing extradition case of former Snoras bank owners

On Monday, a London court should is reopening hearings into the extradition case of Vladimir Antonov and Raimundas Baranauskas, former owners of the bank Snoras that has gone bankrupt and is now under liquidation.

The hearing should start at noon Lithuanian time.

Lithuanian prosecutors have brought suspicions against Antonov and Baranauskas, former bank shareholders, of pocketing about 1.7 billion litas (EUR 493,000) of Snoras assets. The prosecutors have issued the European Arrest Warrant for their detention.

Lithuanian prosecutors have also restricted the suspects' rights to 805 million litas of assets.
