The Lithuanian Ministry of Education and Science said that 90.19 percent of graduates of schools with Lithuanian as the language of instruction passed the exam, while the percentage was 88.83 percent in schools instructing in national minority languages.

"The number of those passing the single examination, which was held for the first time, was similar in Lithuanian and minority schools," the ministry said.

The top mark of 100 was scored by 1.7 percent of graduates of Lithuanian-language schools and 0.42 percent of those graduating from national minority schools.
