Lithuanian customs officer Audrius Šenavičius was killed during a shooting of EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX) in Kosovo on Thursday morning.

Dačić has emphasized that the Serbian government strongly condemns the attack.

In his words, the "insanity of extremism" can threaten peace, stability and security in Kosovo, which harms the interests of Serbia and particularly of Serbians who live in Kosovo.

The Serbian government said in a press release that the country had already offered assistance to EULEX in the search of the perpetrators of the attack.

"We insist and fully support the efforts of arresting the culprits," said the Serbian PM, at the same time conveying condolences to the killed officer's family, the Lithuanian government and EULEX.

The attack has been condemned by top officials of Lithuania, the European Union, NATO and Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), with messages of condolences received from the head of the Latvian government and foreign ministers of Latvia and Poland.
