T. V. Raskevičius: a migrant tent city could soon be needed

With the influx of immigrants from Belarus growing, a tent city could be needed in Lithuania for those arriving, Seimas Human Rights Committee chairman Tomas Vytautas Raskevičius says. The committee he leads is monitoring whether the migrants from Iraq and Syria are assured base humanitarian needs in Lithuania – food, safety and hygiene supplies. The politician said on 15min’s show 15/15 that Lithuanian institutions are also in contact with European Union services regarding potential support.
