Lithuanian travel agency superkelionės.lt becomes an international tourism company group

The agency superkelionės.lt, which has been successfully operating for 15 years now, was granted a German travel organiser license several days ago. This license will allow offering higher quality tourism services for not only Lithuanian travellers but also to enter the German tourism market. With the license, superkelionės.lt becomes an international tourism company group.

Superkelionės.lt has for more than 5 years now been part of the largest German travel agency network Schmetterling Reisen, which unites 6,000 travel agents and almost 2,000 travel agencies and its members are granted conditions to offer not only broader but also higher-quality travel services.

“This is the result of a five-year-long partnership with various German travel organisers and a year of negotiations,” superkelionės.lt founder Udrius Armalis, who will offer travellers from Lithuania all the trips of German organisers for the same price the Germans travel for.

“Our goal is to show that travelling affordably, but also at high quality can be done not only by choosing “last minute” travel organiser packages or cramming yourself into lower quality limits and also planning the journey independently,” U. Armalis says.

The head of superkelionės.lt celebrates that from now on, it will be possible to offer to Lithuanians not only a broader selection of travel destinations in the geographic sense but also to provide the opportunity to reserve hotels around the world under exclusive conditions.

Having started operations a decade ago, today the company has offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Jonava and Anykščiai. Last year, superkelionės.lt reached 1.2 million euro turnover. The tourism company specialises in holiday travel for the entire family, actively participates in encouraging local and arrival tourism, is a partner for such social initiatives as Draugystė Veža, Šalia Mūsų and promotes natural, industrial and sustainable tourism in Lithuania.
