Daiva Rimašauskaitė, an adviser to the minister, confirmed to BNS that the decision had been made. yet refused to make any comment.

“The minister last week made a decision regarding deputy minister Zaremba and notified the representatives of the party, which has delegated him [the Labor Party], thereof in writing. Following the principles of ethics, we do not make any comments on the decision until the meeting of the political council of the ruling coalition takes place on Monday,” she told BNS.

Zaremba told BNS on Monday that he was on holidays now and knew nothing about the minister’s decision.

BNS could not contact the leaders of the Labor Party so far.
